Boston College High got a great performance from Matt Reardon as he struck out six batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Those six strikeouts gave Reardon a new career-high.
At the plate, Jack Darcy was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for Boston College High: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Richard, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
