The biggest upset of the week belonged to Lincoln-Way North, who took down 92nd ranked Bradley-Bourbonnais, 28-21.
The Phoenix moved up to 164 from 205 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Southwest Suburban - Red. Lincoln-Way North was able to make the jump by beating the Boilermakers 28-21.
Lincoln-Way North's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Phoenix feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ryan Arthur has thrown for 712 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Conor McDonald has 20 catches for 206 yards. Julian Hylton leads the league in rushing with 640 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when George Czart's team takes on Thornridge. The Phoenix's offense has scored 201 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Falcons have allowed only 235 on the year.
A big matchup in Southwest Suburban - Red this week will be when Bradley-Bourbonnais takes on Andrew. Mike Kohl's team is in third place, while the Thunderbolts are in second place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Boilermakers take on Andrew. Bradley-Bourbonnais has allowed 87 points this season, while Jim Malec's team has given up 70.
The Thunderbolts extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Thornwood, 47-13. The win marks fifth in a row for the Andrew.
