The Farmersville Farmers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against Kaufman by a score of 52-39. This was payback for Farmersville, who suffered a 45-26 loss the last time these two teams met.
Despite the loss, Kaufman saw an underclassman step up: Kaylee Wrenn scored 14 points along with five assists and three steals. Lillie Reven was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Farmersville's victory bumped their record up to 15-16. As for Kaufman, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-13.
