The Notre Dame Irish were the 66-55 winners over the Hightstown Rams when they previously met earlier this month. On Tuesday? They had no such luck. It was close but no cigar for Notre Dame as they fell 67-64 to Hightstown. The Irish's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
The defeat dropped the Irish's record to 11-8. The win was the fifth in a row for Hightstown and raised their record to 15-4.
The Irish will look to defend their home court Friday against Franklin. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close matchup. As for Hightstown, they will go up against Northern Burlington in two weeks. Hightstown won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
