The NIBC is widely considered the toughest conference in the nation and every game the four-star Wisconsin signee called "Baby Jokic" leaves his mark against power programs and top recruits like Montverde Academy, Oak Hill Academy and AZ Compass Prep.
The center is ranked No. 13 at his position according to 247Sports and he can do it all, shooting from the inside and outside with ease, pulling down rebounds at a clip of 6.4 boards per contest and dishing out high-level passes.
Yalden began receiving scholarship offers following his freshman year at Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) from a number of schools including Wisconsin, Stanford, Illinois and Utah.
As Yalden's profile continued to grow, he attended IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) and the Asheville School (Asheville, N.C.) during his sophomore and junior years before landing at La Lumiere for his senior year.
Prior to his senior season Yalden had a strong summer in the Nike EYBL, which included a 35-point, 17-rebound performance at the prestigious Nike Peach Jam in July.
La Lumiere has 10 games remaining on its schedule including a matchup with Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Air, Kan.) on March 4 before a possible postseason run at GEICO Nationals March 30-April 1.
