Duncanville waltzed into their game on Friday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Mesquite Skeeters. Considering the Panthers and Pantherettes have won 14 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Iselah Johnson was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jacie Patterson, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4.
