Baseball Recap: Somerset Academy Collegiate Has No Trouble Against Founders Classical Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Braunfels Thunder, Somerset Academy Collegiate was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Founders Classical Academy Hoplites as they made off with a 12-4 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bears considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

The win got Somerset Academy Collegiate back to even at 1-1. As for Founders Classical Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

Coming up, Founders Classical Academy will square off against IDEA Ingram Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Somerset Academy Collegiate will be paying especially close attention to the Hoplites' contest: after the Hoplites face off against the Rams, they'll take on Somerset Academy Collegiate again at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
