The matchup between Platteview and Ralston on Thursday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Trojans never let the Rams get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. Considering Platteview have won four games by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Ralston from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Nala Hobbs led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Platteview's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matchups. As for Ralston, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
