The Sebastian River Sharks can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 45-32 win over Oxbridge Academy.
It was another big night for Keenan Matthews, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and four blocks. Those four blocks set a new season-high mark for him. Andrew Simpson was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Sebastian River's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Oxbridge Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
Sebastian River and Vero Beach will face off at 10:30 a.m. on December 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Vero Beach focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Friday. Oxbridge Academy and Coconut Creek will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
