Abigail Withers posted a new career-low in earned runs on Friday. She turned in nothing short of a gem, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Withers and Westridge will challenge Mayfield at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Cubs thanks in part to Withers: she went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Can she match (or beat) that performance?
