Everything went their way against the John Adams Spartans on Wednesday as they made off with an 18-9 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Red Devils as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Flushing's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for John Adams, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Flushing will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Newtown at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for John Adams, they will face off against Bowne at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
