The La Crosse Central Riverhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the DeForest Norskies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as La Crosse Central comes in on five and DeForest on three.
Last Friday, La Crosse Central was able to grind out a solid victory over La Crosse Logan, taking the game 20-10.
Meanwhile, DeForest beat Sauk Prairie 21-14 on Friday.
DeForest got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaylen Carter out in front who rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Grundahl, who picked up 98 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Their wins bumped La Crosse Central to 8-1 and DeForest to 5-4.
