That looming 75-24 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Community Baptist Christian yet this season.
Jay Clifton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Clifton has scored at least 25% of Community Baptist Christian's points. Layne Cook was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with seven rebounds.
Community Baptist Christian pushed their record up to 6-2 with that victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Portage Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Community Baptist Christian will square off against Granger Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Portage Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Unity Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 18th.
