There's no place like home for Jefferson Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against the St. Mary's Academy Wildcats on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Jaguars not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0).

Jefferson Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 25-20.

Jefferson Academy found their leader in freshman Tailey Sengdara, who had 12 digs and four aces.

Jefferson Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They are 4-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Jefferson Academy's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 7-10. As for St. Mary's Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Jefferson Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Eagle Ridge Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, St. Mary's Academy will challenge rival Denver Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
