The Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds's 12-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Monday. They secured a 46-42 W over Tradition Prep. That 46-42 margin sets a new team best for Lincoln Park Academy this season.
J'Shaun Williams was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with six rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Lincoln Park Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Franco Monaco, who scored nine points.
Lincoln Park Academy's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-10. As for Tradition Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.
Lincoln Park Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Treasure Coast at 6:00 p.m. on January 9th. Treasure Coast is on a three-game streak of home losses, Lincoln Park Academy a four-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. Tradition Prep will take on Somerset College Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
