NorthPoint Christian Academy came up short against Walnut Grove Christian on Tuesday, falling 3-0.
The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-7.
Meanwhile, HOPE Academy posted their closest win since October 17, 2024 two weeks ago. They came out on top in a nail-biter against The Fletcher School, sneaking past 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Royals in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won eight in a row.
HOPE Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 19-25, 25-12, 25-14, 15-8.
NorthPoint Christian Academy better keep an eye on Ava Hong. She was instrumental in HOPE Academy's win, getting ten digs and six aces. That's the most aces Hong has posted since back in September.
HOPE Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for NorthPoint Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
