The Mount Greylock Regional Mounties are taking a road trip to  take on the Monument Mountain Spartans  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their  matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Mount Greylock Regional took a loss when they played away from home  on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Thursday. They put the hurt on Amherst-Pelham Regional with a sharp  9-2 victory. The Mounties haven't had any issues with the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  win against them.
  Jameson Bayliss was  incredible,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. That  double was  his first of the season.  Cole Wetherell was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with three  stolen bases and one  run.
 Meanwhile, while Monument Mountain put up plenty of  runs on Tuesday, the same  can't be said for Mount Everett Regional. The Spartans were the clear victors by  an  11-0 margin over the Eagles. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Spartans.
 Monument Mountain now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mount Greylock Regional, they now  have a winning record of 4-3.
 Mount Greylock Regional might still be hurting after the  15-0 loss they got from Monument Mountain  when the teams last played  back in May of 2024. Can the Mounties avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
