With a playoff win on the line, Glenbrook South rose to the challenge  on Thursday. They skirted past the Elk Grove Grenadiers  20-18. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Titans' considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' Illinois flag football rankings (they are ranked third, while the Grenadiers are ranked 29th).
Glenbrook South found their leader in sophomore  Alexis Erickson, who picked up  five  sacks and made seven total tackles.  Kate Ptak was in the mix  too, providing the Titans with two touchdowns.

 On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Glenbrook South's defense and their seven sacks.
