Sam Shaughessy Turns in Season-Best Performance
Sam Shaughessy produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Blaine to the win on Thursday. Shaughessy rushed for 212 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 125 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.
Blaine pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Shaughessy and Blaine will challenge Shakopee at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Anoka was led to victory by Peyton Podany, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Podany threw for 330 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt.
