Big Bay de Noc's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Payton Pederson, who scored 11 points along with seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pederson has scored all season. Caragan Thill was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Bay Mills Ojibwe Charter's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1. As for Big Bay de Noc, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
