Philip has been on the road for four straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Jones County Coyotes at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Philip focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Philip came up short against the Titans and fell 49-41.
Philip's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Josie Jones, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds, and Drew Terkildsen who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Terkildsen pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kale Peterson, who scored five points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Jones County didn't have too much trouble with the Thunder on the road on Saturday as they won 43-27. The win made it back-to-back wins for Jones County.
Philip's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Jones County, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.
