Avonworth got themselves on the board against Calhoun Academy on Monday, but Calhoun Academy never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 15-0 win. The Antelopes not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 29, 2024.

Declan Ehrin looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Jack Dolan was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Michael Libbon was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Avonworth always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .706. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matches.

Avonworth now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Calhoun Academy, they moved to 10-3 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.
