The Columbiana Clippers stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 55-31 margin over United. The victory was nothing new for Columbiana as they're now sitting on four straight.
Maddox Brown was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with seven assists. Another player making a difference was Devin Daugherty, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Columbiana's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-4. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.1 points. As for United, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
Columbiana will head out on the road to challenge the Bears at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Leetonia has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 9. As for United, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m.
