 Payten Stebbins made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  struck out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs and one  triple. That  triple was  her first of the season.
 In other batting news,  Emily Lyver was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with four  stolen bases and two  runs. Those  four  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high.  Maddy Page was another key player,  going 1-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run.
Enfield is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Glastonbury, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
 Enfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Glastonbury, they will head out on the road to  challenge  RHAM  at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday. The Guardians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raptors have averaged an impressive 9.5  runs per game this season.
