The Delaware County Christian Knights are ranked highly in their home state, and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of the Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles. Delaware County Christian strolled past Maryland School for the Deaf with points to spare, taking the game 46-30. The victory was just what Delaware County Christian needed coming off of a 34-12 defeat in their prior game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Delaware County Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Videon, who rushed for 75 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Dixon, who rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown.
Delaware County Christian's win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 5-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
Delaware County Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Maryland School for the Deaf also has no future games currently scheduled.
