Basketball Game Preview: Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Eagles vs. Northeast Academy Eagles

Bethel Assembly Christian Academy is 9-1 against Northeast Academy since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Northeast Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Bethel Assembly Christian Academy and four for Northeast Academy.

Bethel Assembly Christian Academy lost 61-41 to Trinity Christian on Monday.

Bethel Assembly Christian Academy might have lost, but man, McKinley Conner was a machine: he dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. Conner's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Morris, who posted four points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Northeast Academy's game on Tuesday was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pungo Christian Academy. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Raiders 14-9 in the first quarter.

Bethel Assembly Christian Academy's record now sits at 1-6. As for Northeast Academy, their record is now 2-5.

Bethel Assembly Christian Academy beat Northeast Academy 45-38 in their previous meeting back in November. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bethel Assembly Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
