Aidan Syswerda paced Wheaton North's offense, picking up 12 kills. Syswerda got some help from Trey Hubner and his 16 assists. Syswerda was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.
Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Owen Rollinson, who had 12 assists and four digs. Rollinson is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 22 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jack Allen, who had seven digs.
Wheaton North's win bumped their record up to 26-10. As for Hononegah, they moved to 30-7 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
