Make it seven blowout wins for the Friendship Christian Falcons this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Neuse Christian Academy 61-26 on the road. With that victory, Friendship Christian brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.
Leading Friendship Christian to victory were Hunter Peed and Liam Willis. Peed scored 16 points along with three steals, while Willis scored 17 points along with two steals. Willis hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Eugene Amadi, who scored six points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Despite the loss, Neuse Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Westin Tilley scored four points along with four steals. Reed Ransone was another key contributor, scoring five points along with two blocks.
Friendship Christian's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Neuse Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Friendship Christian will head out on the road to challenge Thales Academy Apex at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Thales Academy Apex focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday. As for Neuse Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against St. Thomas More Academy at 6:45 p.m.
