Ozzy Ortega posted a new career-high in runs on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Ortega's strong effort led Nipomo over Orcutt Academy and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans are a perfect 10-0 against the Spartans going back to March of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
