Lone Star walked away with a 37-24 victory over Front Range Baptist. Lone Star pushed the score to 33-5 by the end of the third, a deficit Front Range Baptist cut but never quite recovered from.
Leading Lone Star to victory were Paityn Forry and Jade Kuntz. Forry scored 12 points, while Kuntz scored nine points along with seven rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Forry has scored all season. Amanda Kubitz was another key contributor, scoring four points along with nine rebounds.
Despite the loss, Front Range Baptist still got an impressive performance from Katie Jaques, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Jaques continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
The win got Lone Star back to even at 5-5. As for Front Range Baptist, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-7.
