Ryan Lawlor posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
