Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  5-1  two weeks ago.
 Foresthill saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Rose Mellady, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base.
As for Buckingham Charter, the  win was  the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.5 runs over those games.
 On Buckingham Charter's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Tamia Cendejas, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  doubles. That's the most  stolen bases  Cendejas has posted since back in April of 2024.  Winona Fabi was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  double.
