Basketball Recap: Kuna Extends Winning Streak to Three

Kuna entered their tilt with Reed on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Raiders 64-47.

Reed's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ford Gilliam, who shot 40% from the field en route to 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Spencer, who posted 11 points along with five assists and four blocks.

Kuna's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Reed, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Kuna will venture away from home to challenge Middleton at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Reed, they will head out to face off against Bishop Manogue at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders will need to watch out since the Miners have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
