The Wood-Ridge Blue Devils fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game on Thursday as the odds are decidedly against them. They will head out on the road to face off against the Becton Wildcats. Becton should still be feeling good after a win, while Wood-Ridge will be looking to right the ship.
The contest between the Blue Devils and Leonia on Tuesday was not a total blowout, but with the Blue Devils falling 64-49 at home, it was darn close to turning into one.
Meanwhile, Becton was totally in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Saddle Brook 77-38 at home.
Wood-Ridge took a serious blow against Becton in the teams' previous meeting last month, falling 60-28. Can Wood-Ridge avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll soon find out.
