On Friday Lamoni take on East Union at 7:00 PM. East Union will need to watch out since Lamoni have now posted big point totals in their last six contests.
Lamoni won against Moravia two weeks ago with 52 points, and Lamoni decided to stick to that point total again last Friday. Lamoni took the matchup and then some with a 52-12 win over Seymour/Moulton-Udell. Followers of Lamoni probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their contest two weeks ago against Southeast Warren, East Union were happy to find some success. East Union were fully in charge, breezing past Murray 74-18. East Union were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Lamoni to 4-2 and East Union to 3-3. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
