Charles Howard made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Howard was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with four stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last four times he's played.
In other batting news, Josh Kim was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, six RBI, and three runs. He has become a key player for McCluer North: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-5 otherwise.
