Old Forge is 8-2 against Lakeland since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will host the Chiefs at 7:30 p.m. Lakeland took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Old Forge, who comes in off a win.
If Old Forge beats Lakeland with ten runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Everything went the Blue Devils' way against Dunmore on Tuesday as they made off with a 10-3 victory. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Bucks recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Kamryn Notari made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base. That stolen base was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Ariana Davitt was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Joselyn DeStefano, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Old Forge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Lakeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of Riverside.
Lakeland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Old Forge, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Wednesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Old Forge hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .322. However, it's not like Lakeland struggles in that department as they've averaged .367. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Old Forge's way against Lakeland in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, as Old Forge made off with an 11-4 win. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chiefs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
