Basketball Recap: Amayah Bracy Key Part of a Team Effort in Leopards Win

Blount picked up another tournament win on Friday. They walked away with a 51-39 win over the Booker T. Washington Lions.

Blount's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Amayah Bracy led the charge by putting up 18 points. Bracy has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Heaven Watlington, who posted 11 points and six assists.

Blount has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Booker T. Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.

Blount didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-40 loss against Warren Easton on the 27th. As for Booker T. Washington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 44-41 defeat against Phoenix on the 28th.
