Santa Clara won the last time they faced Cupertino and things went their way on Friday too. The Bruins were the clear victors by a 33-7 margin over the Pioneers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bruins.

Despite the loss, Cupertino still got an impressive performance from Brandon Cheng, who rushed for 93 yards and one touchdown.

Santa Clara now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cupertino, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
