In what's become a running theme this season, Riverside Christian Academy gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They breezed by American Leadership Academy-Johnston on the road to the tune of 62-9. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-4.
Paris Autry and Unique Cooke were among the main playmakers for Riverside Christian Academy as the former scored 26 points along with seven steals and the latter dropped a triple-double on ten points, ten rebounds, and 11 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Autry has scored at least a third of Riverside Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Tamara Hayes, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Atlantic Collegiate Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over 1 of 1 Academy Red on Saturday, taking the game 65-52. The victory was all the more spectacular given Atlantic Collegiate Academy's disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 185th in South Carolina, while 1 of 1 Academy Red is ranked 15th in North Carolina).
Riverside Christian Academy's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.
