After having lost a blowout to Steele in their previous game, Clearview was happy to find some success on Friday. Clearview were fully in charge, breezing past Harvey 45-6. That result is just more of the same for Clearview, who also won the last time these teams played.
Clearview's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 39 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Harvey couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 39-0 heading into the break. The other side of the ball continued to do well for Clearview in the second half and held Harvey to 6 points. The win bumped Clearview's record up to 0-1. The loss dropped Harvey's record to 0-1.
Clearview will look to defend their home turf next week against John Hay at 7:00 PM. Harvey will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Riverside at 7:30 PM.
