In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jessie Borzello, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sophie Inis, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Truckee always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .767. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Sparks' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Truckee, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
