 Bonham's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Brae Gorman, who  went 5 for 9  on his way to 14 points and five  rebounds. Those 14  points gave  Gorman a new career-high.  Heath Brown was another key player,  putting up ten points along with seven  assists and five  boards.
 Meanwhile, North Lamar waltzed into their match  on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Wildcats, posting  a  63-33 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  win the Panthers have posted  since December 6, 2024.
 North Lamar's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 20-8. As for Bonham, their  win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 15-12.
 Bonham lost to North Lamar on the road  by a decisive  64-50 margin  in their previous matchup  two weeks ago. Can Bonham avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
