The Lourdes Catholic Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Baboquivari 77-27. Lourdes Catholic has not had much luck with Baboquivari recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Baboquivari's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aiden Joaquin, who scored 16 points along with two steals. That's the first time this season that Joaquin scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Devin Antone, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Lourdes Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Baboquivari, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.
Lourdes Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Baboquivari will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Thomas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
