Windsor is 2-7 against the Raiders since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Windsor Owls will look to defend their home court against the North County Raiders at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Windsor has seven straight victories, the Raiders have four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Windsor can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on DeSoto with a sharp 69-44 victory. Given Windsor's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Dragons are ranked 405th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 88-35, which was the final score in North County's tilt against the Rebels on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for North County in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now lost five in a row.
Windsor pushed their record up to 11-4 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for North County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season.
Windsor skirted past the Raiders 51-49 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Will Windsor repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
