In winning, the Rockets have started 2018 26-0 and ran their two-year win streak to 41 straight. They defeated No. 2 Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, Calif.) in the Durango finals.
Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) defeated Xavier (Phoenix) for third place and Torrey Pines (San Diego) defeated previously ranked Kamehemeha (Honolulu) for fifth. Mater Dei starts this week ranked No. 4 and Torrey Pines sits at No. 10.
Yorktown (Ind.) remained unbeaten and Marist (Chicago) ran its two-year win streak to 45 to round out the top five.
The biggest mover of the week is Plant (Tampa, Fla.) which vaulted from unranked to No. 9 after winning the Battle of the Beach.
In addition to Plant, new to the Top 25 this week are unbeatens Jesuit (Portland, Ore.), Millennium (Goodyear, Ariz.), and Champlin Park (Champlin, Minn.) and Chaparral (Parker, Colo.), McGill-Toolen (Mobile, Ala.), and Ridge Point (Missouri City, Texas).
While the Durango took its toll on several Top 25 teams this week, two upcoming tournaments this weekend — the Phoenix Nike Tournaments of Champions, and Rich East Tournament in Lennox, Ill. — will likely impact next week's rankings.

Assumption moved to No. 1 after winning the Durango Fall Classic over the weekend.

1. (Last week 2) Assumption (Louisville, Ky.), 25-0 The Rockets won their fourth tournament of the season, sweeping seven opponents to win the Durango Classic for the second year in a row. Assumption swept seven teams — including highly ranked Mater Dei and Redondo Union.
2. (6) Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, Calif.), 16-2The Seahawks won six-of-seven games to place second in the Durango Classic, losing only to champion and national No. 1 Assumption.
3. (5) Yorktown (Ind.), 19-0The Tigers have yet to lose a set this season. They have won 53.
