In winning, the Rockets have started 2018 26-0 and ran their two-year win streak to 41 straight. They defeated No. 2 Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, Calif.) in the Durango finals.
Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) defeated Xavier (Phoenix) for third place and Torrey Pines (San Diego) defeated previously ranked Kamehemeha (Honolulu) for fifth. Mater Dei starts this week ranked No. 4 and Torrey Pines sits at No. 10.
Yorktown (Ind.) remained unbeaten and Marist (Chicago) ran its two-year win streak to 45 to round out the top five.
The biggest mover of the week is Plant (Tampa, Fla.) which vaulted from unranked to No. 9 after winning the Battle of the Beach.
In addition to Plant, new to the Top 25 this week are unbeatens Jesuit (Portland, Ore.), Millennium (Goodyear, Ariz.), and Champlin Park (Champlin, Minn.) and Chaparral (Parker, Colo.), McGill-Toolen (Mobile, Ala.), and Ridge Point (Missouri City, Texas).
While the Durango took its toll on several Top 25 teams this week, two upcoming tournaments this weekend — the Phoenix Nike Tournaments of Champions, and Rich East Tournament in Lennox, Ill. — will likely impact next week's rankings.

Assumption moved to No. 1 after winning the Durango Fall Classic over the weekend.

The Rockets won their fourth tournament of the season, sweeping seven opponents to win the Durango Classic for the second year in a row. Assumption swept seven teams — including highly ranked Mater Dei and Redondo Union.
2. (6) Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, Calif.), 16-2The Seahawks won six-of-seven games to place second in the Durango Classic, losing only to champion and national No. 1 Assumption.
3. (5) Yorktown (Ind.), 19-0The Tigers have yet to lose a set this season. They have won 53.
4. (3) Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), 20-1The Monarchs went 6-1 in the Durango Classic to take third place. Their lone loss was to No. 1 Assumption.
5. (9) Marist (Chicago), 15-0The Redhawks have won 47 over two years.
6. (13) Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, Texas), 29-1The Bobcats have won five straight since losing and have won 15 sets while losing just one during the streak.

Ali Clare Jahn (4.0 digs and 4.7 serve receptions per set) and
Grae Gosnell (4.0 kills per set) have been impressive in recent matches.

9. (NR) Plant (Tampa, Fla.), 9-0Swept the Battle at the Beach tournament and knocked off previously No. 8 Venice (FL), 2-1, in the finals.
10. (12) Torrey Pines (San Diego), 14-2 The Falcons went 6-1 at the Durango Classic to take fifth place in the Gold Bracket.
11. (14) 'Iolani (Honolulu), 18-2The Raiders went 6-1 at the Durango Classic to win the Silver Division.
12. (18) Helias (Jefferson City, Mo.), 16-0The Crusaders are averaging 14 kills per set.
13. (10) Xavier College Prep (Phoenix), 9-2The Gators went 5-2 and reached the semifinals of the Durango Classic before losing twice and placing fourth. They lost to runner-up Redondo Union and third place finisher Mater Dei.
14. (20) Millard North (Omaha, Neb.), 15-0 North is averaging 18.9 digs per set.
15. (21) Cedar Falls (Iowa), 15-0The Tigers have won 27 straight over two years.
16. (22) Sterling (Ill.), 16-0The Golden Warriors have lost just one set in 33 played.
17. (1) Walton (Marietta, Ga.), 19-2The Raiders last lost to an in-state team in 2014.

23. (8) Venice (Fla.), 12-1The Indians placed second to Plant (FL) in their own Battle at the Beach Invitational.
24. (NR) Ridge Point (Missouri City, Texas), 30-4With their lengthy front row, the Panthers have won 16 in a row.

25. (7) Mt. Carmel (New Orleans), 14-1The Cubs suffered their first loss of the season in losing to McGill-Toolen (Mobile, AL), in the finals of the Catholic Cup.
