The Draper APA Eagles stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 66-16 win over Rowland Hall on the road. Winning may never get old, but Draper APA sure is getting used to it with their 13th in a row.
Leading Draper APA to victory were La'la Baldwin and Sammy Kartchner. Baldwin almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine assists, while Kartchner almost dropped a triple-double on 28 points, 13 rebounds, and nine steals. Baldwin is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Jazmin Moctezuma was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five steals.
Rowland Hall's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lila Bates, who scored five points.
Draper APA pushed their record up to 16-3 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Rowland Hall, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
