Galion is 1-9 against Highland since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Galion Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Highland Fighting Scots at 7:15 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Galion suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Monday. They had to suffer through a rough 67-13 loss at the hands of Pleasant. While losing is never fun, Galion can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 678th, while Pleasant is ranked 108th).
Meanwhile, Highland suffered a rough 54-28 loss at the hands of Centerburg on Monday.
Highland's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Addie Mullins, who scored seven points, and Sierra Fitzpatrick who scored five points.
Galion has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Highland, they dropped their record down to 5-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
