Football Recap: Dixon's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Dixon won the last time they faced North Boone and Landon Knigge did his part to make sure it happened again. The Dukes & Duchesses breezed past the Vikings to the tune of 48-0 on Friday with plenty of help from Knigge, who rushed for 139 yards and two scores on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 139 rushing yards.

The win made it two in a row for Dixon and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. As for North Boone, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.

Dixon has already played their next contest, a 56-0 win against Oregon on the 26th. As for North Boone, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 56-38 loss against Genoa-Kingston on the 26th.
