Chris Gordon and Co. Win 18th in a Row
Tatnall picked up their 18th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Chris Gordon. Gordon produced his best game of the campaign : he picked up 205 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Perhaps even more impressive was his lead-up to Friday's matchup, in which he outscored his previous point total for three consecutive games.
Tatnall pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Gordon will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on DuPont on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Juan Aldas Leads Wilmington Charter over St. Elizabeth
On Saturday, Wilmington Charter got the W thanks in part to Juan Aldas playing the best football he has all season. Aldas picked up a sack and made 16 total tackles (3.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
If history really does repeat itself, Aldas might just drop another big game when he faces off against Delcastle Technical on Friday. When Aldas last faced the Cougars back in October of 2023, he picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made 15 total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Smith Came Up Big in Glasgow's 25-12 Loss
Glasgow was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Jamar Smith did his best to prevent it. Christiana had no answer to Smith as he rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Smith really tore up the turf during one magnificent 90-yard run.
Glasgow dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Smith and Glasgow will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on DuPont at 6:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Tatnall Wins 18th-Straight Thanks to Quinn De Viere
Quinn De Viere's big game helped extend Tatnall's winning streak to 18 on Friday. De Viere threw for 342 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 14.3 yards per attempt, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.
On the season, De Viere has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 146.5 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 1.67 passing yards per game.

Jude Maycole Delivers Best Effort of Season
Jude Maycole was instrumental in extending Tatnall's winning streak to 18 on Friday. Maycole turned in his biggest game of the season, picking up 109 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 66 yards.
On the season, Maycole has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 37.3 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 16 receiving yards per game.
